Established in 2012, the Community Impact Fund is our central fund. As the name suggests, monies distributed from this fund are used to make a lasting and meaningful impact in our community, forever.
The Community Impact Fund is ideal for those wanting to make a one-off or regular donation of any amount, without having to specify which organisations will benefit. Every year our annual funding round invites local community organisations to apply for funding from the Community Impact Fund. All applications are carefully reviewed by our Distributions Committee and grants are awarded to organisations who are making a real difference in our region.
Over the past five years, more than $550,000 has been distributed from the Community Impact Fund to support 200+ community groups and projects across the region. As the fund grows, so will our ability to provide a sustainable source of funding to local charitable organisations.
