Celebrating the growth of community philanthropy

Hawke’s Bay Foundation was honoured to celebrate the growth of community philanthropy across Aotearoa NZ, together with Community Foundations of New Zealand Patron, The Rt Hon Dame Cindy Kiro, Governor-General of New Zealand, at Government House earlier this month.

If Cyclone Gabrielle has taught us anything it’s the power of community giving and collective philanthropy.  Just look what can be achieved when we all lean in together.

Hawke’s Bay Foundation is one of 17 Community Foundations around New Zealand that are here for the long haul, serving as your region’s safest and most effective charitable giving vehicles, not just in times of crisis but for generations to come.
